Drafting Engineer

Rengie Ramirez has been a drafting engineer at Avenue since June of 2024, where he expertly crafts MEP documentation—covering both the mechanical and electrical infrastructure for AV systems. With a background in stage technology and mechanical engineering, Rengie brings a creative technical flair honed through experience as a church production technical director, production manager, and as a technician and creative team member at Universal Studios’ Epic Universe. In short: if it’s complex, technical, or needs a little magic, Rengie is your go-to.

What Rengie loves most about his work? Problem-solving. Whether it’s tackling a tricky technical challenge or finding new ways to use AV technology to help people—like delivering powerful messages in churches—he thrives on turning puzzles into solutions. His knack for thinking outside the box ensures that no detail is overlooked, and no software left unmastered.

Outside the office, Rengie’s life is just as dynamic. He enjoys traveling, outdoor adventures like fishing and hunting, and family creativity—especially designing holiday light shows that have become neighborhood legends. His Halloween display, featuring singing, joke-telling pumpkins, is an annual must-see. Rengie and his wife are proud parents of four children—three boys and one girl—and love exploring the world together.

A few essentials Rengie can’t live without? A trusty pocket knife (a 13-year companion) and a flashlight—because you never know when a little preparation might save the day.
